The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Nicholas Ukachukwu has accused the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA of “massive vote buying” in the Saturday’s election.
The APC flag bearer cast his ballot at about 11:45am at his Umudiala 1, PU 011, Osumenyi Ward 2, Nnewi South Council of Anambra State.
He said the news across the State is that “APGA is buying votes.”
He however expressed confidence in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to do a good job.
He also expressed satisfaction with the massive voter turnout.
According to him, the turnout aimed at making a statement of people’s loss of confidence on “a governor that has failed to deliver since assumption of office.”
“Yes, I’m confident in INEC. They are doing a good job. I’m optimistic that despite the “massive vote buying”, I will win the election.
“The massive voter turnout is aimed at making a statement as the people are tired of the governor who has failed to deliver since mounting the saddle,” he added.
