Anglican Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese, Right Reverend Prosper Amah has cautioned Christians against acts capable of debasing the true meaning of Christmas.
Amah, in his Christmas message delivered at Bishop’s Court, Atani regretted that many people were engaging in activities not in tandem with Christmas and called for an attitudinal change.
He expressed disgust over high rate of uncertainty in Nigeria which he blamed on poor government policies, urging government at different levels to synergize and find lasting solution to security challenge facing the country.
While making strong case for patronage of made in Nigeria product to strengthen the economy, the Prelate however called on federal government to create more enabling environment for the growth of indigenous firms.
“This can be achieved through enduring adequate power supply in addition to harmonizing the tax policy of the country to avoid chasing out investors from the country,” he added.
The Bishop urged Nigerians to always see themselves as one, calling for total respect for the sanctity of human life.
