UDUF Africa inspires entrepreneurs

By Emma Elekwa

UDUF Africa has urged entrepreneurs, professionals and aspiring business leaders to cultivate discipline, consistency and focus as key drivers of success.

The call was made at the April Business Meeting and Mentorship Session of the organisation, held at the Onitsha Business School.

The event attracted a vibrant mix of participants seeking practical insights and strategies for personal and business growth.

Speaking at the event, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Orange Express Ltd., Chief Okwudilichukwu Moedu, underscored the importance of mindset in achieving success, noting that growth rarely occurs within one’s comfort zone.

In a presentation titled, “From Hustle to Success: Real Success Stories and Strategies from a Successful Trader,” Moedu emphasised the need for internal preparation to attain external success.

He highlighted the value of mentorship, recalling the influence of his father in shaping his entrepreneurial journey, and stressed the importance of collaboration and strategic partnerships.

Moedu cautioned entrepreneurs against operating in isolation and advised them to invest wisely rather than leave funds idle, describing uninvested money as unproductive.

He further urged participants to align their ventures with market demands and leverage technology as a critical driver of growth in a rapidly evolving digital economy.

Think and Grow Rich

Also speaking during a book review session on the globally acclaimed guide, “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, the facilitator, Mr Precious Ani, provided a practical breakdown of the book’s 13 principles of success.

Ani explained key concepts such as desire, faith, persistence and effective decision-making, and guided participants on how to apply them for sustainable personal and professional development.

Founder of UDUF Africa, Mr Ezuma Chinedu, charged attendees to be intentional about their goals

Ezuma stressed that success requires the same level of commitment given to other important aspects of life.

He described the organisation’s business meetings as transformative platforms designed to inspire action, foster leadership and promote mentorship and strategic networking.

Ezuma reaffirmed UDUF Africa’s commitment to empowering individuals and nurturing visionary leaders across Africa.

The event featured interactive parliamentary-style discussions and networking sessions aimed at promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants.
