Democracy Day: Keep believing in Nigeria’s promises – Soludo’s wife tells youths

Wife of Anambra state Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo has urged Nigerians, especially the youths to continue believing in the promises of the country.

She also charged them to play their part in shaping future where families could thrive in good health, dignity and prosperity.

Soludo who gave the advice in her message to mark 2026 Democracy Day further called on citizens to renew their commitment to values of peace, unity, justice and service to humanity.

According to her, the occasion served as reminder that progress is possible when citizens participate actively, leaders remain visionary and accountable and communities work together for the common good of the country.

She said, “Today, we celebrate the enduring power of the people’s voice, hope, and our collective resolve to build a better Nation; a Nigeria where dreams are lived and opportunities are achieved.

“Democracy reminds us that progress is possible when citizens actively participate, leaders remain visionary and accountable, and communities work together for the common good of the country.

“As we mark this important day, let’s renew our commitment to the values of peace, unity, justice and service to humanity.

“I encourage everyone, especially our young people, to continue believing in the promise of our nation and to play their part in shaping a future where every family can thrive in good health, dignity, and prosperity.

“Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria. Together, we can build the Nigeria of our dreams.”
