A real estate professional, Mr Chijoke Okolo, has commended Gov. Peter Mbah of Enugu State for his strides in governance and development, particularly in digital innovation.
Okolo said in Enugu on Tuesday that the governor had demonstrated a clear commitment to transforming the state into a modern, technology-driven economy that benefits all citizens.
He noted that since assuming office, Mbah had embraced what he described as “disruptive innovation” in governance.
He added that the approach had modernised administrative processes and exposed residents to opportunities in the digital economy.
According to him, the development is positioning Enugu as a forward-looking hub in Nigeria’s technological advancement.
Okolo, however, acknowledged that two years might not be sufficient to comprehensively assess the administration’s achievements, but said the period provided a credible basis for evaluating its direction and effectiveness.
He added that the trajectory of policies and reforms reflected a government committed to progress, transparency and sustainable development.
“The administration’s focus on digital innovation as a driver of economic prosperity is already yielding results and providing useful insights into the state’s economic structure.
“This underscores a pragmatic and strategic approach to governance that prioritises data-driven solutions and long-term growth,” he said.
Okolo further said that residents of the state were satisfied with the governor’s performance, expressing appreciation for improvements across key sectors.
He stressed that visionary leadership, combined with innovation and people-centred policies, had the potential to transform societies, build public trust and ensure sustainable development. (NAN)
