Anambra Correspondents’ Chapel congratulates Attah over appointment as UNIZIK spokesperson

The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council has congratulated Aloysius Attah on his appointment as Director, Information and Public Relations, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

The Chapel in a statement by its Chairman, Chuks Ilozue and Secretary, Lucy Osuizigbo-Okechukwu described as well-deserved the appointment of Attah, who is one of its distinguished members.

According to the statement, the elevation is a clear recognition of Attah’s professionalism, diligence, intellectual depth, and longstanding contributions to journalism and strategic communication.

The statement reads in part, “The Chapel received the news of his appointment with great joy and profound pride.

“Attah has distinguished himself as a committed journalist and communicator of repute, consistently demonstrating excellence in reportage, public relations practice and media management.

“His appointment is therefore seen as both a reward for merit and a call to greater service in advancing institutional communication at one of Nigeria’s foremost universities.

“The Chapel is confident that Attah will bring his wealth of experience, creativity and ethical grounding to bear in his new role, thereby strengthening the visibility, credibility, and information management systems of Nnamdi Azikiwe University.”

Expressing hope that the appointment would further inspire younger journalists, the Chapel urged the new UNIZIK spokesperson to remain steadfast in the values of professionalism and integrity that have defined his career.

“We pray for wisdom, strength and success for him as he assumes this important responsibility.

“Once again, congratulations to our esteemed colleague, Mr. Aloysius Emeka Attah,” the statement concluded.
