Victims of the Palm Sunday attack in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area, have received a major boost following the donation of a truckload of assorted food items worth ₦100 million.
The donation was announced by the President of Koinonia Global Ministry, Apostle Joshua Selman, during a courtesy visit to Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, at the Government House in Rayfield, Jos.
Plateau State has continued to witness an outpouring of support, as prominent individuals visit to sympathise with the government and people over the tragic incident in Angwan Rukuba.
The latest visit by the cleric was part of efforts to commiserate with affected communities.
Apostle Selman condemned the attack, describing it as ungodly, and urged residents to remain strong despite the challenges.
He acknowledged the emotional toll of such incidents but encouraged the people to stay united and support the state government in its efforts to move forward.
In his response, Governor Mutfwang expressed deep appreciation for the gesture and solidarity shown by the ministry.
He also appealed for inclusive support, urging that victims from other faiths affected by the attack should not be overlooked.
The visit concluded with a special prayer session for the state, during which Apostle Selman announced an additional ₦100 million cash support to be distributed to families of the victims.
