The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, wants Nigerians particularly Christians to sacrifice for the peace of the country.

In an Easter goodwill message, Governor Soludo also lauded the inspiring Easter’s lessons of selflessness, modesty, hope, renewal and harmony as personified by Jesus Christ.

He urged Christians to take advantage of this season to reinforce the ideals of personal sacrifice for mutual tolerance and peaceful co-existence in our country.

In a goodwill message released by Christian Aburime, his Chief Press Secretary, Soludo extended warm congratulations to Christians in Anambra State and across Nigeria.

The Governor commended Christians for their prayers and consistent devotion to the virtues of sacrifice, solemnity, humility, and spiritual revival exhibited during the Lent.

He said Easter’s lessons perfectly align with his administration’s vision for Anambra State as a peaceful, livable and progressive society.

As Christ triumphed over death, Soludo hoped for a triumphant Nigeria where the noble dreams of leaders and citizens for a stronger and better nation will be realized.

Governor Soludo wishes the Christendom a happy and reviving Easter celebration.

Easter marks the end of the Lent season as well as commemorates the crucifixion, death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
