Anambra Election: Ukachukwu emerges APC candidate 

Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu emerges APC candidate in Anambra

Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate in the Nov. 8 Anambra Governorship election.

He was declared the winner of the primary election held in Awka, having polled a total of 1,455 votes out of 1,630 votes cast.

Other contestants – Mr Val Ozigbo, polled 67 votes, John Bosco Onunkwo polled 26 votes, while Edozie Mmadu polled eight votes to come fourth.

Announcing the results,  Gov. Bassey Otu of Cross Rivers State, who is the chief Returning Officer of the election commended the umpire.

He also appreciated security agents,  committee members, aspirants and the party faithful for the success of the event.

Otu urged everyone to support the winner to enable the party come out victorious at the Nov.8 election.

Addressing the party members, Ukachukwu appreciated President Bola Tinubu and the working committee for organising a hitch free primary.

He  thanked members of the party for the confidence reposed in him to represent the party in the forth coming gubernatorial election.

He promising to make the party proud if he is elected as governor comes Nov. 8.

Chief Basil Ejidike, Chairman , APC Anambra, also appreciated President Tinubu and members of the working committee for their efforts.

Ejidike called for unity and togetherness to achieve victory.

The Anambra state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Queen Elizabeth Agwu and other INEC officials observed the voting process.
