President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mr. Ayo Sotinrin as the new Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture, effective immediately.
Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, made the announcement in a statement.
Mr. Sotinrin, is a skilled expert in finance and agribusiness
He is expected to bring extensive experience from both the private and public sectors into his new role.
Before his appointment, he served as the Group Chief Executive Officer at SAO Group, where he spearheaded several groundbreaking agricultural projects.
Some of the projects include the development of a 20,000-hectare oil palm plantation and large-scale poultry, aquaculture, maize, and cassava operations in Ondo State.
