Agbodike wins massive endorsement, declares re-election bid as supporter donates N20m

The member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency, Mr Pascal Agbodike, has declared his intention to seek releection into the green chambers.

At a constituency briefing in Ihiala, Agbodike presented a comprehensive account of his activities and achievements over the past three years.

The event was attended by traditional rulers and President Generals, and reigouis leaders.

Agbodike emphasized that his tenure has focused on improving the welfare of his constituents, highlighting strides in education, infrastructure, human capital development, and job creation across local, state, and federal levels.

He also noted his interventions in communities affected by insecurity.

At the gathering, the lawmaker formally declared his intention to seek reelection, assuring constituents that every part of the constituency has benefited from his representation.

He appealed for continued support to enable him to build on the progress recorded so far.

The lawmaker also commended Governor Charles Soludo for renaming the Uli Campus of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in honour of former Governor Dr. Chinwoke Mbadinuju.

Royal blessings

Royal fathers, including Oluoha Ihiala, Igwe Thomas Obidiegwu, Igwe Francis Chikezie of Azia, and Igwe Emma Nnabuife, were present to offer their blessings, while the Ihiala LGA Chairman, Anayo Orjiakor, welcomed attendees in his opening remarks.

The highlight of the event was the endorsement of Agbodike’s reelection bid by stakeholders and residents of Ihiala LGA.

An international businessman, High Chief Chimezie Nwankwo donated ₦20 million in support of his campaign, while some other stakeholders also pledged support.

Speaking after the event, a stakeholder from Azia community, Chief Joel Okey, described the massive turnout and endorsement as clear evidence of Agbodike’s performance in office.

He noted that the lawmaker’s achievements and constituency projects have earned him widespread approval, adding that the people have spoken in support of his re-election.
