Rock-Link Real Estate Company Nigeria Limited expressed worry over pressing housing challenges facing civil servants, particularly teachers and other public servants in Anambra state.
Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Obika Chibuike Kingsley who disclosed this during an interview in his Awka office regretted that many civil servants struggle with housing during their working years and after retirement.
According to him, some are left without a home, an ugly trend he described as unacceptable.
“To address this, Rock-Link Real Estate has introduced a flexible salary based payment plan, allowing buyers to pay for property gradually through monthly installments.
“The company has acquired extensive land across key locations, including Umunya, Nkwelle Ezu Nanka, Urum, Okpuno, Mgbakwu and outside Anambra giving buyers options that suit their budgets.
“Through this system, we have helped many people own their homes without financial strain. Civil servants should come forward, share their budget and we will make property ownership possible for them,” he explained.
Obika urged civil servants to take advantage of Rock-Link affordable housing schemes, reaffirming the company’s commitment to bridging the gap between genuine property ownership and affordability in the State.
The CEO however praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his transformative leadership in the State, describing his achievements as “the work of two terms accomplished in one.”
He expressed optimism for the governor’s second tenure, saying, “Ndi Anambra should expect even more impressive projects. The second tenure will bring massive development and the people will be more surprised.”
