Police in Anambra state have arrested a 34-year-old suspect for alleged involvement in armed robbery in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area of the state.
Command spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga in a statement on Sunday said the suspect has been on the Police wanted list.
He said one Magnum Pump Action gun with 12 live cartridges, were recovered from the suspect.
“The Anambra State Police Command Operatives attached to Rapid Response squad, Awkuzu at midday of Saturday, acting on credible intelligence, arrested one Kingsley Eze, male, aged 34 years, in Abagana.
“The suspect has been on the Police wanted list for alleged involvement in armed robbery.
“During the arrest, one Magnum Pump Action gun, along with twelve (12) live cartridges, were recovered from him.
“The suspect is currently in custody undergoing interrogation and would be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigations.”he said.
