Legendary American R&B group Shalamar will perform in Abuja on October 4 at the International Conference Centre.
The performance is to mark Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day weekend.
The concert is organised by iCreate Africa and First Culture Ltd.
Mr Bright Jaja, CEO of iCreate Africa said the concert promises a night of nostalgia.
According to him, it will feature timeless hits like A Night to Remember and I Can Make You Feel Good.
He said the songs would be performed with a 7-piece live band.

Also speaking, Mr Tunde Babalola First Culture’s Creative Director, said,”This is not just a concert, it is a musical bridge between generations”.
Shalamar members Howard Hewett, Carolyn Griffey and Jeffrey Daniel, known for pioneering the Moonwalk, were present.
They expressed excitement about returning to Nigeria for the first time in over 40 years.
Their last visit in 1982 saw four sold-out shows across Lagos, Ibadan and Ife.
