Morocco fled protest with CAF over Nigeria’s 3-2 WAFCON final victory, questioning the eligibility of Ashleigh Plumptre and Michelle Alozie.
Both were born abroad but play for Nigeria through heritage.
Morocco claims irregularities in their nationality switches and wants Nigeria stripped of the title.
Plumptre was cleared by FIFA to play for Nigeria in 2021 after documentation confirmed her Nigerian heritage through her paternal grandfather.
Alozie, born to Nigerian immigrant parents in the U.S., holds Nigerian citizenship through descent.
The NFF has dismissed the protest as baseless. In the final match, held on Saturday, Morocco took a 2-0 lead by halftime.
However, the Super Falcons mounted a strong second-half comeback to seal the win and claim their 10th WAFCON title.
