NDC represents Nigerians’ hope for positive change, says former Anambra PDP spokesman

Former PDP Scribe

Former Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State, Mr. Nnamdi Nwangwu, has described the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the platform capable of delivering the positive change Nigerians desperately seek.

Speaking with journalists at his residence in Uruagu, Nnewi, Nwangwu criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), saying the party has failed Nigerians after more than a decade in power.

According to him, the APC-led administration has worsened economic hardship, insecurity, unemployment, and hopelessness among citizens, while only a privileged few connected to the political elite appear to benefit from the system.

He argued that allowing the APC to remain in power beyond the current administration would further deepen the suffering of ordinary Nigerians.

“The last eleven years under the APC have brought untold hardship to Nigerians. Nothing is working properly anymore. Insecurity has worsened, hunger is everywhere, and citizens can no longer live or do business in peace,” he said.

Nwangwu lamented that many farmers have abandoned their farms due to attacks by bandits and terrorists, leading to rising food shortages and worsening poverty across the country.

Closure of business

He also decried the closure of many businesses as a result of harsh economic conditions, noting that the growing unemployment rate has left many young graduates without hope for a better future.

“The reality today is that many Nigerian youths now prefer to remain abroad and endure hardship there because they no longer see opportunities at home,” he stated.

The former PDP spokesman maintained that Nigerians must realize that meaningful progress cannot be achieved under the APC, urging citizens to obtain their voter cards and prepare for change in future elections.

He described the NDC as a credible alternative capable of repositioning the country and restoring confidence among Nigerians.

“The positive change Nigerians desire cannot come from the same system that created the present challenges. NDC is the vehicle for that change and a platform through which Nigerians can rebuild their future,” Nwangwu said.
