APC releases revised timetable for 2027 general elections

The All Progressives Congress has released a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections, fixing new dates for the conduct of party primaries and other pre-election processes.


The revised schedule was contained in a statement signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.


According to the timetable, the party adjusted timelines for screening, appeals and primary elections, alongside directives on the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms and approved bank accounts for payments.


The APC fixed the cost of the presidential nomination form at N100 million, while governorship aspirants are to pay N50 million.


The party also pegged the senatorial nomination form at N20 million, House of Representatives form at N10 million and House of Assembly form at N6 million.


It stated that all primary elections for the various offices would hold between May 15 and May 23, 2026.


The party added that the submission of completed nomination forms would close on May 4, 2026.
