National Coordinator of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors, Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe, has urged Nicholas Ukachukwu, the guber flagbearer of All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 8 Anambra governorship election to perish his ambition.
Obigwe described Ukachukwu’s ambition as “dead on arrival” maintaining that the APC candidate is no match for incumbent Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
He argued that one million Ukachukwus could not unseat Governor Soludo.
Obigwe was responding to a Facebook post by Eneh Victor, urging Soludo to restrain his supporters from insulting a Catholic priest involved in public ministry.
He alleged that Victor is in alignment with Ukachukwu, whom he accused of “buying up anybody available” to fuel his governorship ambition.
The APGA faithful insisted that financial inducements cannot sway him, warning that Ukachukwu’s supporters, motivated by pecuniary gains, would soon face reality as the election draws nearer.
“There is no vacancy in Anambra State Government House. The majority of Anambra’s populace testify that no governor in the state’s history has achieved what Soludo’s administration has in three years.
One million Ukachukwus cannot unseat him.
“He predicted a “walkover” for Soludo, citing his administration’s achievements, including infrastructure and security improvements.
“Anambra is in safe hands under Soludo, and voters will reject “desperate politicians” like Ukachukwu, who deploy “sugar-coated words and empty promises”.
