Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra has inaugurated Solution General Hospital, Anaku in Ayamelum Local Government Area .
This is to improve access to healthcare and in the state.
Soludo at the inauguration said the facility would provide vital medical services to residents of Ayamelum.
According to him, the area previously lacked such essential healthcare infrastructure.
“The opening of this hospital is a testament to our commitment to providing quality healthcare for all.
“This signifies a historic moment for the community.
“The facility is now poised to function as a crucial referral secondary care center for residents both in the area and beyond.
“This hospital will address the healthcare needs of our people and improve the quality of medical services available in the area,” he said.
The Governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to prioritising human capital in health and education sectors.
He expressed confidence in the hospital’s potential to make a transformative impact on the community.
“By providing essential medical services, we are taking a significant step toward improving overall health outcomes in Ayamelum,” he said.
Soludo appreciated the people for their continued support.
He urged them to turn out in large numbers to vote for the APGA in the Nov. 8 governorship election.
“Together, we can continue to drive progress and development throughout our state,” he said.
Earlier in his address, Dr Afam Obidike, state’s Commissioner for Health, said 65 health workers had been deployed to the facility.
Obidike said they would attend to the healthcare needs of the people.
“Your work here is instrumental in enhancing the well-being of the people of this community,” he said.
Speaking on behalf of the community, Dr. Uche Okafor, former Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, commended Soludo for his transformative agenda.
“Soludo’s policies are not just theoretical; they have made a real difference in our daily lives.
“They have significantly improved the quality of life of our people.
“Therefore, he deserves our support and votes on Nov.8, for the continued progress of our communities and state,”he said.
The people of Ayamelum unanimously endorsed the Governor for second term.
