Soludo warns against ritual pollution

Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra

Anambra State Gov. Chukwuma Soludo has cautioned native doctors against polluting rivers and streams with ritual practices.

Soludo urged them to use alternative means such as buckets to avoid contaminating public water sources.

Speaking to APGA members in Awka, Soludo emphasised the health risks involved in such practices.

He said many residents depend on these waters for daily needs.

The Governor clarified that his administration’s crackdown criminal native doctors, not traditional worshipers.

He condemned deceptive practitioners who promise quick wealth, warning youths not to fall for such scams.

He cited cases of Anambra youths jailed abroad for drug trafficking after being misled by so-called charms

“No native doctor can make you rich without hard work.

“I urge families to instill values of discipline, determination, and integrity in the younger generation.
