Dr Metchie maintained that the president displayed an uncommon nationalistic disposition exemplified by Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe and others.
In an interview, Metchie hailed President Tinubu for publicly observing that Anambra is rising under Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
He also extolled the president’s commitment to sustain support and assistance to him to realize his vision of a liveable and prosperous Anambra State.
Metchie appreciated the President for his commitment to assisting the state to tackle the erosion menace.
The industrialist also hailed the promise to include Anambra State in the Federal Government’s rail transport development plan.
Metchie, who is the President-General of Umueri community in Anambra-East Local Government Area, saw other benefits in the visit.
“It will unlock greater economic opportunities for the citizens, following the commissioning of the Solution Fun City, the new Government House Mini City and others.
“These may require recruitment of more labour for enhanced operational efficiency. “The visit provided a powerful opportunity to voice the collective will of our people.
He noted that Governor Soludo has shown extraordinary leadership, foresight, and dedication and deserved the support of the Federal Government.
“His ongoing infrastructural and socioeconomic reforms are setting the stage for a brighter, more prosperous Anambra.
“However, to deepen and sustain this transformation, federal support is critical,” Metchie submitted.
