Tinubu’s Visit: NSCDC deploys 1,531 operatives for maximum security

The Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 1,531 operatives ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s visit on Thursday.

State Commandant Olatunde Maku announced the deployment after a strategic meeting with top officers.

Maku stated that personnel from Enugu, Imo, Abia, Ebonyiand Delta would reinforce security in Anambra.

He said the operatives, in collaboration with other security agencies, will secure critical infrastructure and conduct surveillance.

He said they will also maintain order at strategic locations including airports, government buildings, markets, and telecom facilities.

“The NSCDC will also manage crowd control along the president’s route and ensure smooth movement.

“I urge our personnel to act with professionalism and called on the public to remain law-abiding during the visit,”he said.
