A Nigerian man has triggered widespread reactions after staging a dramatic protest at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, declaring he has been abandoned after sacrificing everything for the party’s 2023 campaign.
Holding a bold placard reading “Reward me or kill me,” the visibly distressed protester claimed he sold his house to support campaign activities.
He alleged that he has been left without any form of compensation or support.
Dressed in an APC-branded blue shirt, he lamented his worsening condition, revealing he can no longer afford his children’s school fees.
In a shocking claim, he said he had even left his children in the care of the party’s Chief Security Officer out of desperation.
The incident, captured in a now-viral video, shows the man pacing at the entrance of the secretariat in broad daylight, shouting his grievances and appealing for attention.
Security personnel remained on standby while passersby looked on, many recording the unfolding scene on their phones.
