Ahead the 2027 National Assembly elections, Dr Alex Obiogbolu, senatorial aspirant for Anambra North zone yesterday had an interactive session with members of Oganiru Anambra Youth Vanguard in Onitsha.
Speaking at the occasion, a frontline senatorial hopeful, Dr Obiogbolu who was Special Adviser to Gov Charles Soludo on Political Matters said he would occasion agricultural Industrialization in his zone.
This according to him goes beyond distribution of fertilizers to the farmers in his constituency, this he pointed out has become imperative because agriculture is big business if proper orientation and incentives are made available to the farmers.
Following closely after was his determination to use the instrumentality of the Senate to ensure management of the perennial and seasonal flood in Anambra North Senatorial Zone.
Dr Obiogbolu said he intends to introduce and encourage public health expansion and equity which he noted would take health care delivery to the door steps of his people.
The senatorial hopeful while commending Gov Charles Soludo on the successful implementation of his novel 1 youth 2.skills said that the scheme under his watch as Senator representing Anambra North zone would be domesticated as he would institute 1 household 2 skills model.
The former Special Adviser to Gov Soludo, a computer guru said he would also encourage digital infrastructural development and connectivity in Anambra North zone.
All-inclusive agenda
All classes of traders, market women are not left out of Dr Obiogbolu’s agenda as he vowed to offer them massive support for prosperous homes in his constituency and beyond.
The venue of the meeting became electric as members of the youthful group rose in applause of the senatorial hopeful when he assured them that he would usher in an era of real time empowerment programs totally different from the era of T shirts, caps and Okada empowerment.
The Spokesperson for the group, Comrade Obinna Nnoli who spoke with journalists after their meeting with Dr Obiogbolu described his vision and goals for Anambra North Senatorial Zone as laudable.
