President Bola Tinubu wants Nigerians to use the Eid-ul-Kabir festivity to pray for security personnel who are keeping the peace and stability in various parts of the country.
Speaking to newsmen after observing the Eid prayers in Lagos, President Tinubu called on the privileged to cater for the needy.
He said act of giving must not be limited to wealth or resources, but also compassion, time, and availability for others.
“In the spirit of peace, we must come together, be one another’s brother’s keeper, give to your neighbours, love everyone equally”, he said .
He called on the faithful to safeguard their sacrifices in words and through behavior that honours their service and upholds the dignity of the nation.
