Vice President Kashim Shettima has formally submitted the nomination and expression of interest forms of President Bola Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The forms were presented at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, where APC governors, lawmakers, and party leaders gathered to declare support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
Shettima said the President has demonstrated courage and leadership in implementing economic reforms aimed at stabilising the country and securing a better future for Nigerians.
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, described Tinubu’s leadership as bold and transformative, insisting that ongoing reforms have placed Nigeria on the path of recovery and progress.
APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, also said the President’s achievements in key sectors and improving economic indicators justify the party’s endorsement of his re-election bid.
He added that APC governors and members remain united behind Tinubu ahead of 2027.
