Soludo felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr, urges sustained unity and good deeds

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in the state and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.

In a message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Abirime, the governor congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, describing the period as one marked by deep reflection, sacrifice, and devotion to God.

Soludo commended the Muslim community for their resilience, spiritual discipline, and endurance throughout the 30-day fasting period, noting that such virtues remain vital to building a morally upright society.

He поted that the values of patience, charity, and self-denial practised during Ramadan are critical in strengthening societal cohesion and fostering peaceful coexistence.

The governor urged Muslims to sustain the spirit of devotion and good deeds beyond Ramadan, while remaining steadfast in prayers for peace, unity, and progress in Anambra State and the country at large.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to inclusiveness, Soludo pledged to continue promoting religious harmony, tolerance, and mutual respect among all residents of the state.

He wished the Muslim faithful a joyous and blessed Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
