Tinubu arrives Plateau on condolence visit, meets stakeholders over security crisis

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Plateau State for a condolence visit following recent security challenges in the state.

The presidential aircraft touched down at Yakubu Gowon Airport at about 5:00 p.m., with the President accompanied by top government officials, including the Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa, and other senior members of his entourage.

On arrival, he was received by Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, as well as former governors Joshua Dariye, Jonah Jang, and Simon Lalong.

Also present were political leaders, religious figures, and representatives of communities affected by the recent crisis.

Discussions between the President and key stakeholders in Jos are expected to focus on finding lasting solutions to the recurring security challenges, as well as promoting peace and stability across the state.
