A petitioner, Mr. Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has urged relevant authorities to investigate alleged offences of obtaining by false pretences, false representation, forgery and conduct likely to defraud the public against Ms. Blessing Okoro, also known as “Blessing CEO.”
In a petition submitted through his solicitors, Otse called for a thorough probe into the activities of the social media personality, citing concerns over representations she allegedly made to members of the public across various online platforms.
The petition stated that the suspect, who presents herself as a public figure and influencer, had made a series of claims relating to her personal life, achievements and circumstances, which reportedly attracted widespread attention and engagement among Nigerians and a global audience.
According to the petitioner, the representations made by Okoro may have misled members of the public, hence the need for a comprehensive investigation to ascertain their authenticity and determine whether any laws were violated.
Otse further urged authorities to act in the interest of the public and ensure that anyone found culpable is held accountable in accordance with the law.
