Wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo has called on Nigerians to embrace love, kindness and unity as they celebrate Easter, which marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In her Easter message on Sunday, in Awka, Soludo said the resurrection of Christ symbolises God’s unconditional love for humanity and His triumph over death.
She urged Christians to reflect on the essence of the season by showing compassion to others and extending a hand of support to those in need.
According to hee, Easter offers an opportunity for individuals to share with others, regardless of how little, noting that genuine acts of kindness remain the true expression of Christ’s sacrifice.
“Let your actions bring smiles to others and reflect the significance of Christ’s death and resurrection for the redemption of mankind,” he said.
Soludo also emphasised the need for people to foster unity and peaceful coexistence within their communities.
She prayed that the light and grace of Christ’s resurrection would abide in families, communities and the nation at large.
She further advised Nigerians to celebrate responsibly and prioritise their safety, health and well-being during the holiday.
