A chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Primus Odili has commended women in the state, and Nigeria in general for their immense contributions to society, families, and communities.
Odili who stated this in his congratulatory message to mark the 2026 International Women’s Day, tagged, “Saluting the strong, fearless and fabulous women” described such contributions as invaluable.
He said the day offered opportunity to celebrate the women’s strength, resilience, and determination everywhere.
He said, “Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and determination of women everywhere. Your contributions to society, families, and communities are invaluable. Keep shining, keep inspiring.
“On this International Women’s Day, let’s recognize the incredible achievements of women and girls breaking barriers, pushing boundaries, and making a difference.
“To all the women who paved the way, fought for justice, and continue to inspire: thank you. Your legacy lives on. Let’s uplift, support, and empower each other.
“Happy International Women’s Day to all the amazing women out there.”
