The Spiritual Head of Soul Revival Outreach, Nnewi in Nnewi North LGA of Anambra State, Prophet Ikechukwu Uzukwu says the best replacement for Late Sen Ifeanyi Ubah in Senate, is Chief Ebuka Onukwo.
Prophet Uzukwu said he has critically examined the persons who are jostling for Anambra South senatorial position and the Ihembosi sweet merchant is the only person who can effectively fit into the giant-sized shoes left behind by Senator Ubah.
He said that his position is not a disrespect for other aspirants but insisted that a round peg should be allowed to fill a round hole in the 2027 Anambra South senatorial election.
“The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Seahorse Lubricants, Chief Ebuka Onukwo has been using his personal resources to positively impact Anambra people and indeed the entire Ndigbo home and abroad, just as Sen Ifeanyi Ubah was doing before his untimely demise.
“I learnt that many people were lamenting and crying when he didn’t get the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ticket in the rerun senatorial election last year, because of the party’s special arrangement.
“Now a substantive senator would be elected next year to replace the deceased enigmatic and pragmatic Ifeanyi Ubah.
Fitting into Ubah’s mould
“It’s only fair and right to look for an individual who who can fit into his mould,” Prophet Uzukwu asserted.
He noted that he has never met with Chief Onukwo but added that the testimonies of the goodness, large heartedness and philanthropy of the Chairman, CEO Seahorse Lubricants singles him out among the pack of aspirants.
Prophet Uzukwu while commenting on the situation of things for the masses in the country said the government of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has become a nightmare and dangerous for the common people.
He said that APC adherents deceived Nigerians with their ‘Change’ and ‘Renewed Hope’ slogan.
“The government of All Progressives Congress (APC) has reduced many Nigerians to walking corpses.
“The rate at which people slump and eventually die in the process is unprecedented.
“Many families have abandoned meat and fish as their source of protein, just because they can’t afford it.
All respite blocked
“All the areas where the common people are getting respite from have been blocked by the heartless APC government through outrageous taxes, value added tax(VAT) especially.
“Eighty percent of youths in the country are jobless not because they are lazy but the because of systemic failure of governance at the moment where companies and factories are shutting down.
“This development should worry right thinking persons because of its effect on security.
“We are yet to see the positive effects of fuel subsidy President Ahmed Bola Tinubu removed.
“Rather his government has been borrowing on daily basis, what individuals and corporate bodies are facing now is tax regime that is pauperizing a whole lot of people.
“The three years of President BAT in office has been hell for struggling Nigerians.” The Spiritual Head, Soul Revival Outreach Nnewi pointed out.
He emphasized that if next year general elections are allowed to be free and fair, 95% of the current political office holders would not be returned.
The Prophet noted that the political class in the South East promising victory for President Tinubu in the next presidential election cannot even win any election in their wards.
“Many politicians who are decamping to APC in the South East just want to ride on President Tinubu’s shoulder to get their own elections rigged in their favour using the federal might.
“If things continue on a dangerous backslide, Nigeria should say bye-bye to APC in 2027 and look for someone else to safe them,” he concluded.
