FirstPower pledges improved power supply in Anambra

 FirstPower Electricity Company, a subsidiary of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC), has reaffirmed its commitment to improving power supply and service delivery to customers in Anambra State.

Mr Okechukwu Okafor, Managing Director of FirstPower, , made the pledge on Wednesday in Awka at a Performance Recognition Ceremony to celebrate the contributions of outstanding its staff in the state.

Okafor said:” FirstPower is committed to improving service delivery in Anambra.

“We are committed to the state’s progress, especially in the power sector. Our focus is on the customer because the customer is the platform for our success.

“We will also continue to work closely with the Anambra State Electricity Regulatory Commission, residents and industrial groups to enhance power supply across the state”.

Okafor charged employees of the company to remain diligent, disciplined and customer-focused in the discharge of their duties.

He commended the outstanding employees for their dedication and urged them to consistently place customers at the centre of all operations.

According to him, sustainable progress for the company depends on consistently prioritising customers in all dealings.

“The performance recognition will remain a key management tool to inspire productivity and improved service delivery.

“Excellence, integrity and customer satisfaction must guide every of your interaction,” he said.
