She said, “At some point, I prayed the cup to pass over. But I felt it’s going to be a shame if I back out. I used to think I’m strong, but this journey thought me I needed God in everything.
“I’m here to tell you, I came, I saw and conquered. All the steps were symbolic, especially the protest on the horrific death of the teenager and other things that were scary.

“I also thank God for his wisdom to deploy strategies, including youths talent hunt as campaign. There were battles over my life as well as blackmail strategy to defame me and other
“But I must confess that the contest was worth it. This is just the beginning of better things to come.”
Ifemeludike, who doubles as party’s Deputy national chairman appreciated the Pastor of the church for his support throughout the exercise, describing him as partner in activism and politics.
She also thanked her friends, family, media and supporters of the #ChiomaforGovernor campaign for gracing the occasion amidst tight schedule.
“That is why I came back to this church to appreciate God. Even though I’m not always in service, but my spirit is with you.
“Thanks for joining me for a special Church Thanksgiving Service as we appreciate God’s grace, guidance, and the unwavering support you have all shown on this journey.
“Your presence mean so much as we come together to thank God and commit the road ahead into His hands. Let’s gather in unity, faith, and hope for a greater tomorrow.
Role model ambition
“I look forward to celebrating this moment of gratitude with you. I want to be role model to young people. Look at my strength and accomplishments and learn. I won’t let you down,” she added.
Responding, Pastor of the church, Samuel Usoro commended the Guber candidate for finding it worthy to appreciate God despite not making it to the end.
“Because you came to appreciate God for “failing”, God will embarrass you beyond your imagination,” he said.
