UDUF Africa has drawn curtains on its activities for the year with a strong focus on leadership, impact and service.
The organization closed with an Award Ceremony at the Onitsha Business School attracting young leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, volunteers and partners.
Participants reflected on the organisation’s journey in 2025, reviewed key activities as well as deepened learning and mentorship.
The occasion also celebrated individuals whose contributions strengthened UDUF Africa’s mission.
Various speakers challenged members to prepare for greater impact in the year ahead.
In a keynote address by the Chairman of Chillis Foods Limited, Dr Peter Abayol on the theme From Ideas to Impact, he emphasised resilience, purpose-driven leadership as pillars of sustainable success.
Other are: strategic partnerships, a clear vision and continuous learning.
He urged participants to stay focused and translate ideas into measurable results.
UDUF Africa honoured him with an Appreciation Award in recognition of his mentorship and outstanding contribution.
In his address, the Founder of UDUF Africa, Dr Ezuma Smart Chinedu, restated the organisation’s vision and expanding influence in leadership development, entrepreneurship and community service.
More than acquiring knowledge
He challenged members to move beyond acquiring knowledge to taking deliberate action.
Dr Chinedu stressed that consistent application of ideas drives real transformation.
The ceremony also recognised members who distinguished themselves in team leadership, collaboration, dedicated service, knowledge sharing and sustained impact.

UDUF Africa further elected new Executive Directors to steer key committees in 2026.
Those appointed include Comrade Chukwuekezie ThankGod Chukwuemeka as Executive Director, UDUF Africa Leadership and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2026; Mrs Amara Rebecca Ezuma as Executive Director, Under 45 CEO Business and Leadership Summit 2026; Miss Blessing Asonye as Executive Director, Africa Day Celebrations Committee 2026; and Comrade Joshua Steve as Executive Director, International Youth Day Celebration 2026 Committee.
The meeting ended with expressions of gratitude, renewed commitment and unity, as participants reaffirmed their resolve to empower young leaders and transform communities across Africa.
