Guber Poll: APC inaugurates LG campaign councils, promises mouth-watering incentives

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra state has announced mouth watering incentives to encourage party faithful deliver on their mandate in the forthcoming November 8 governorship election.

Leader of the Nnewi North campaign council, Dozie Ikedife who doubles as Director General (DG) of Ikukuoma/Ekwunife campaign council gave the assurance at the inauguration of the party’s campaign councils in the 21 local government areas of the state.

In Nnewi, the LGA campaign council composed of 119 eminent personalities was inaugurated at the Otolo-Nnewi country home of the DG, Ukachukwu Ekwunife campaign council.

Ikedife appealed to members of the committee to take the Wind of Glory message to every nook and cranny of the industrial town.

According to him, 150 colourful bill boards have been procured to make the job of council seemless.

He also pointed out that most of the personalities who made Sen Ifeanyi Ubah camp tick are fully moved into APC.

Charge on hard work

Also speaking, delegation from the State, Sam Atuchukwu and Fabian Ozoigbo who inaugurated the Nnewi North campaign council also charged the people of the industrial town to work hard during the polls.

Ozoigbo particularly charged the LGA council members to take ownership of the Ukachukwu/Ekwunife project.

“Go to every homes in this great town and bring out the votes for Ikukuoma. The project to connect Anambra to the center is our collective responsibilities, we must vote out the incumbent who has failed woefully,” he said.

Princess Esom Nwafor-Orizu who flew in from Abuja to be part of the inauguration expressed happiness that Ikedife is spearheading the APC campaign efforts.

She noted that the chances of APC in the guber polls were very bright. She however declined to disclose the strategies that would be used to upstage Gov Charles Soludo and his APGA.
