Anambra state Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh has directed public mission or private schools to ensure immediate compliance with the directive to register in the 2024/2025 Annual School Census Exercise.
The Commissioner who gave the directive on receiving the list of defaulting schools in her office, said the directive served as final warning to schools yet to comply.
The directive signed by Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr. Ifeoma Agbaizu, said any school that fails to comply with the directive will be closed down.
The release stated that after the exercise, the list of the defaulting schools would be published.
“All schools should visit the Federal Ministry of Education’s portal and do the registration with immediate effect,” the statement reads.
