Labour Party Governorship Candidate, Dr. George Moghalu has encouraged students with special needs to believe in their potentials.
Moghalu during a visit Special School for the Deaf, Onitsha, where he interacted with the students, assured them that disability is not inability.
He also reminded them that every child deserves equal opportunity to dream and achieve.
He promised that education for children with special needs would not be neglected under his watch,


“My vision is to build a society where no one is left behind, regardless of their condition or background.
“We must build an Anambra where every child, regardless of circumstance, can thrive and contribute meaningfully to our collective future,” he added.
Responding, the priest-in-charge of the school, Ven. Dan Uche commended Moghalu for his compassion, humility and consistent concern for the less privileged.
He described the visit as a clear demonstration of Moghalu’s leadership philosophy that places people at the center of governance.
The students sang, clapped and reached out to shake hands with the LP flag bearer.
Stakeholders present, describing such gestures as reflection of humane leadership style, empathy and his readiness to build an Anambra that cares for all its citizens.
