No fewer than 1,000 nursing students of Millennium Nursing College, Awka, Anambra state on Wednesday benefitted from Free Solution WiFi by Geeks and Founders Alliance for Soludo (GEFAS).
The initiative tagged “Connecting Tomorrow’s Nurses Today” and powered by GEFAS Team was in line with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision of “Technology Everywhere, Everything Technology.”
Speaking during the visit, MD/CEO of the Anambra State ICT Agency and Convener of the GEFAS, Fred Agbata described the gesture as clear sign of what continuity in leadership would achieve.
He assured that the gains of the project would not only be sustained but made permanent targeted at securing brighter, tech-driven future for the state.
Agbata said, “Today, the GEFAS Team officially stormed Millennium Nursing College, Awka, with the Free Solution WiFi, reaching out to over 1,000 nursing students.
“This initiative is about amplifying Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s vision of a Digital Anambra through the deployment of the GEFAS Mobile Tech Hub and linking students directly to the Free Solution WiFi.
On the go mobile connection
“With this on-the-go mobile connection, the nursing students now enjoy fast, reliable internet access for research, downloads, online learning, and staying connected to opportunities across the digital space.
“An initiative like this inspired by Governor Soludo’s vision, is a clear sign of what continuity in leadership will achieve.
“Through his foresight and commitment, a once-abstract vision of a Digital Anambra is now becoming a lived reality for students and citizens alike.
