Shun unprofessional conducts or face sanctions – FRSC Corps Marshal warns patrol team leaders

Patrol team leaders of the Federal Road Safety Corps have been warned against unprofessional conducts that could dent the image of the corps.

The Corps Marshal, FRSC, Shehu Mohammed, gave the warning during a high-level training for all patrol team leaders across the Federal Capital Territory Sector Command in Abuja.

Mohammed said the initiative was designed to reposition the corps for excellent service delivery to Nigerians.

According to him, the intervention will help to sanitize field operations, eliminating corruption, and restoring public trust in road safety management.

“The Corps seeks to create a ripple effect of professionalism that strengthens accountability, enhances discipline within the ranks, and guarantees a zero tolerance posture towards unethical conduct”

He charged patrol leaders to be civil, empathetic, and professionalism, stressing the resolute stance of the corps on discipline and integrity.

The Corps Marshal further directed that the be conducted in all FRSC commands nationwide.

This is to ensure a uniform standard of civility and accountability within the organization.

He said, “Every patrol team leader must be an ambassador of civility and integrity, anything less is unacceptable.”

In a presentation, the Assistant Corps Marshal in charge of Training Hyginus Omeje, reinforced the principles of courtesy, accountability, and zero tolerance for unethical practices.

He also warned that any officer found guilty of misconduct will face swift and decisive sanctions.
