An Anambra cleric, Pastor Innocent Ifeanyichukwu on Tuesday won a brand new motorcycle in the Golden Dip Empowerment Raffle Draw by Seadavid Services Limited.
Ifeanyichukwu, from Awka Etiti in Idemli North Local Government Area of the state emerged winner of the grand prize in a transparent process witnessed by other contestants and the media.
Speaking shortly after the competition, Managing Director, Dr Nnamdi Okechukwu said the tickets were bought by residents across the state, which reflected in the tickets called out during the exercise.
He listed items won in the competition worth over #3.5million to include cartons of noddles, tin tomatoes, vegetable oil, 2 bags of 50kg rice, 2 brand new laptops and star prize brand new motorcycle.
“We went round the whole 21 local governments of the state to distribute and collate tickets with our agents. That’s why you see the number of tickets today,” he said.
Extension till December
While revealing extension of the competition till December, Okechukwu assured aggressive sensitization in subsequent editions.
He also called on residents to take advantage of the extension of the competition to key into the exercise so they could be part of the lucky winners.
“This is the first draw and we’ve learnt some lessons in terms of reaching out to people. Going forward, we’ll ensure we intensify publicity, including calling the contestants with their numbers to notify them ahead of the draw.
“We’re satisfied with the exercise because the major aim of empowerment and putting smiles on peoples faces was achieved.
“You can imagine how someone is going home with a brand new motorcycle with only N2000.
“Since the competition has been extended to December 5 and we’ve proved to be real and genuine, go out there, locate our agents and get as much tickets as you are. You may be the lucky winners,” he added.
