Labour Party governorship candidate in Anambra, Dr. George Moghalu reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment, grassroots development and inclusive governance.
Moghalu gave the assurance whilehosting youths of Uruagu Nnewi at the Obi of Uruagu Palace in Nnewi North LGA.
The meeting which witnessed large turnout of enthusiastic youths, provided a platform for sincere engagement on the future of Anambra.
Addressing the youths, Moghalu assured them of the central role they would play in his administration.
“This will be done through job creation, skills development, educational reform, improved security and infrastructure renewal”.
According to him,, his ambition to lead Anambra is driven not by personal interest.
He said it was driven by a shared desire to build a better state anchored on transparency, opportunity, and equity.
He assured the youths that their welfare remains a core part of his agenda.
“This is not a personal mission; it is a collective movement to return governance to the people.
Moghalu highlighted the role of his foundation in equipping young people across the state with vocational training and tools to become self-reliant.
He maintained that his commitment to youth-led initiatives was longstanding and unwavering.
“I am not far from you—I am one of you.
“I will continue to support your efforts and walk with you in building stronger communities,” he stated.

President General of Uruagu Nnewi Youths, Mr. Ejike Ifejiofor lauded Moghalu for his consistent support and his accessibility over the years.
He expressed the community’s satisfaction that a son of Nnewi is at the forefront of the governorship race.
“We are proud that Nnewi son is a frontline candidate in this election.
” You have always stood by us and today, we are standing with you 100 percent. This is our own,” he said.
The youths pledged their support for Moghalu’s vision and leadership, expressing renewed hope for a united and progressive Anambra.
