Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has appointed Mr Joachim Achor as the acting Accountant General of the state.
The appointment was done following after a rigorous selection proces.
Achor’s appointment was announced by Mr Christian Aburime, the Governor’s Press Secretary in a statement on Thursday.
“Gov. Soludo has approved the appointment of Mr. Joachim Chinedum Achor as Acting Accountant General of Anambra, effective immediately.”
“Achor’s rise to this appointment as acting Accountant-General exemplifies excellence and dedication to public service in Anambra State.
“Rising through the ranks from entry level to Director, Permanent Secretary and now Acting Accountant General.
“Soludo congratulates Achor and urged him to discharge his duties in the service of the state with integrity and dedication,” the statement said.
