Former Super Eagles captain and football legend Sunday Oliseh has announced the death of his brother, Uche Levi Oliseh, following a brief battle with malaria.
In a heartfelt message shared via his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, @SundayOOliseh, the ex-midfielder expressed profound grief and shock over the loss.
“Sadly I lost my brother, Uche Levi Oliseh on Thursday after a brief illness with Malaria fever. It hurts so bad, like I have never felt before.
“I have over a million things that I would wanna talk, laugh and do with Uche, but sadly I cannot anymore. Damn, death is a real, “Oliseh wrote.
The announcement has sparked an outpouring of condolences from fans, colleagues, and football associations across the globe.
