Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra state has expressed excitement over commitment of young people to his government and second term bid.
He said creating support group and digital space for his reelection was clear demonstration of their love and passion for his administration.
Soludo spoke through Secretary to the State Government, Prof Solo Chukwulobelu while unveiling fully digitalized office space and platform.
Soludo urged them to secure the space which are for mobilizing votes for his reelection, from hackers.
He said, “There’s no doubt to our winning November 8 election.
“We only want to prove that that there’s no vacancy in government house and that Anambra is APGA and APGA is Anambra.
“We have 5,720 polling units and we want to win all of them. In some polling units, we may win with one vote.
“Our target is to win the election and continue with our good works for Ndi Anambra.
Be wary of hijackers
“We thank you for coming out to support our reelection without requesting for any support from the government.
“But do not allow the opposition to hijack it,” he advised.
“We are excited that Soludo’s government is not only changing all aspects of economy but redefining campaign strategies too.
“What I have seen here today is very sophisticated. We will see how we can integrate this platform into governance.”
“With this, you will be able to reach out to more people who will assist in shaping legacy of Soludo’s government.
“It shows that the youth will not only vote for Soludo but assist in getting people to feel the pulse of the government.
Convener of GEFAS, Fred Agbata said they created the digital hub not just as a campaign tool but as symbol of their collective belief in Soludo’s tech-forward governance.
“This space is a reflection of our commitment to digital progress and what young innovators can achieve when united behind a visionary leader like Governor Soludo.
“Governor Soludo has unmatched love for the youth and innovation.
This is a government built on technology — and we are building this to ensure he continues,” Agbata stated.
Also speaking, Special Adviser on Politics to the Governor, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu commended the initiative, describing it as a benchmark for youth-led political engagement.
“This isn’t just a support group, it’s a movement. If re-elected, Governor Soludo will take digital innovation in governance to the next level,” Obiogbolu assured.
