Gov. Peter Mbah of Enugu State, has mourned the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Mbah described Buhari’s death as a great loss to the nation.
In a statement, Mbah described Buhari as a patriotic and honest leader.
According to him, Buhari’s legacy of integrity, simplicity and dedication to national service would endure.
“President Buhari stood out for his truthfulness and commitment to nationhood.
“His leadership was centered on serving the masses and uplifting the underprivileged,” Mbah said.
He praised Buhari’s lifelong public service and expressed condolences to his family, the people of Katsina State, the federal government and all Nigerians.
He prayed for the late president’s eternal rest.
