Anambra Guber: Obi, Moghalu, Umeh, Nwoye, others storm Onitsha for LP rally

The Labour Party (LP), Anambra State Chapter will on Friday hold its Statewide rally ahead of November 8 governorship election in the state.

The party in a statement by State Chairman, Ugochukwu Emeh said the rally slated for 10am at the All Saints Cathedral field, Onitsha is aimed at deepening party’s grassroots movement and reaffirming its shared commitment to equity, good governance and people-oriented leadership.

The statement said the significant gathering would feature inspirational addresses from the stalwarts and members of the party, including National Leader of the party, Mr Peter Obi, Governorship Candidate, Dr. George Moghalu and his Deputy, Lady Ifeoma Okaro.

“Representatives at both National and State Assemblies, party Stakeholders and Grassroots Mobilizers would also be addressing party faithful at the rally.

“Let us unite with purpose and resolve to shape a brighter and more inclusive Anambra. Together, we move forward— for the people, and with the people,” he added.
