Dalori replaces Ganduje as APC National Chairman

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the Deputy National Chairman (North), Ali Bukar Dalori, to take over as Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

This follows yesterday’s resignation by former Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje.

Dalori will lead the party in acting capacity pending the convening of the National Executive Committee (NEC) to formally elect a new chairman.

APC confirmed the resignation of its erstwhile National Chairman, through a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

It revealed that Ganduje tendered his resignation through a letter addressed to the National Working Committee (NWC) via the National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru.

The former Kano State governor stated that his resignation was necessary to enable him attend to urgent and important personal matters.

The NWC expressed appreciation for Ganduje’s invaluable contributions and distinguished record of service and wished him continued success in his future endeavors.
