Patriotic critical stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and other political gladiators under the aegis of Anambra Coalition Stakeholders Forum have adopted Chief John Nwosu as their preferred governorship candidate for the November 8 gubernatorial election.

The forum drawn from the 21 local government areas and 326 electoral wards in the state also adopted the coalition moves of its national leadership.

Led by ADC National Chairman, Chief Ralphs Okey-Nwosu, the stakeholders brainstormed on the political climate of the nation and the way forward.

They commended Nwosu’s leadership for the initiative of a national coalition at this point in the nation’s political development.

In their view, only such move would galvanize all the incensed and restive sectors, zones and peoples.

Adopting the resolution of the meeting in Awka, the group expressed satisfaction that ADC was piloting the coalition compass of the anticipated new political movement.

Chief Nwosu in his remarks pointed out that what’s playing out now was a result of over twenty years painstaking hard-work and sleepless nights.

Obasanjo, Obi keen about coalition

He disclosed that former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed confidence and played invaluable legwork in anchoring the emerging political structure and for it to be rested in ADC, as a political party with a difference.

The Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, he noted was also keen to see the coalition galvanized to fruition under ADC.

While commending the Anambra Stakeholders for being alive to the Coalition dreams, Nwosu thanked them for their doggedness.

ADC governorship candidate, John Nwosu expressed high confidence in his victory at the coming Nov 8, 2025 poll.

He dropped 7-key points of his campaign focus with which to turn things around for the state and the citizens.

The Forum nominated a former Speaker of the Anambra State Assembly, Barr BenChuks Nwosu as chairman, who signed the communique and Prof (Mrs) Zelunjo Igweze as Secretary.
