An Enugu based Media firm, Aneke Television, has rewarded the Chief Security Officer (CSO), Mr John Okeke, who led the operation leading to the rescue of kidnapped 13-year-old girl at Isiagu Umumba community with a brand new phone.
The operation led by Okeke to the exposure of the Isiagu Umumba’s native doctor and ritualist, Levi Obieze.
The exposure led to discovery of dead bodies in dungeon in his house and rescue of a 13-year-old victim, Ukamaka Okonkwo.
Presenting the item, Chief Executive Officer, Aneke TV, Chief Paschal Aneke, said the gesture was the organization’s little way of thanking and encouraging Okeke.
He explained that Okeke’s effort and insistence led to the rescue of the victim.
Aneke, represented by the Manager of the TV station, Chibuike Fredrick, expressed gratitude that the CSO did not accept offer of N10 million given to him by Obieze.

“We travelled all the way from Enugu to Ezeagu Council Area to see you and present this token to you.
“Use this phone to call necessary stakeholders when you notice see any strange movement within this community.
“Aneke TV is overwhelmed with your act of honesty and bravery. I wish other members of the community will emulate you,” Aneke said.
Responding, Okeke commended the organisation for remembering him.
He described it as the first appreciative gesture after the incident, pledging to do more in securing the community and its environs.
“My God bless and reward Paschal Aneke and Aneke TV family,” he prayed.
